the flags were moving. Just think how much we could accomplish if everyone had as much pride in our country as your community does!”
FALL CLEANUP: Fall cleanup starts October 10. We live in a windy city, so grass clippings and leaves should be bagged in sturdy bags. They are near impossible to haul otherwise. Please remove all vehicles and trailers from the alleys and have everything out by the 10th because it is difficult and expensive to backtrack. Thanks for your cooperation. Tires, paint and chemicals, batteries, used oil, or large pieces of concrete will not be picked up. We will start on the southwest corner of town and move east, and then start on the north side of town on the west and move east.
SAVE MONEY!!! STOP WATERING BY OCTOBER 31ST. THIS WILL KEEP THE SEWER PORTION OF YOUR BILL LOWER.
ELECTRONIC SIGN: The city and school district are jointly installing an electronic sign on the southeast corner of the Jr. High school. This sign will serve both entities and can be controlled by both separately. It should be completed and in service soon.
