HAPPY FATHER’S DAY

HAPPY FATHERS DAY

TETON DAM MARATHON: The Teton Dam Marathon is cosponsored by the cities of Sugar City and Rexburg. It will be held Saturday, June 9. All of the runners will be passing through Sugar City by Heritage Park where they will have available water and refreshments

DOORTODOOR SALESMEN: Doortodoor solicitation is illegal in Sugar City without a permit. If any solicitors or salesmen come to your door, please notify the sheriff’s office at 356-5426

SPRING CLEANUP was completed on May 24. The city hauled 90 truckloads of debris from town. We would like to remind everyone that leaves and grass have to be bagged in the

future. Tree limbs and branches have to be cut in eight to ten foot lengths, no longer. For those who have already dumped grass in the alleys, please bag it. Just a reminder we will not pick up large construction projects, i.e., no roof jobs or remodeling jobs. Thanks for your cooperation

SUGAR CITY STAKE CLEANUP PROJECT: Sincere thanks are extended to all volunteers who helped with the stake service project on May 30. The work projects were monumental and were completed by a large number of energetic, enthusiastic workers. They trimmed around the trees and applied three loads of bark around them. Tennis court backstops were painted, and also the inside and outside of the pavilion at Heritage Park. Tons of weeds were removed. In general, the city wishes to extend appreciation to the entire stake for this tremendous, helpful project. A special thanks is extended to Chris Andrews for his organization
