ANNUAL CHRISTMAS TREE LIGHTING: The Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony will be held Monday, December 4th at Heritage Park at 6  p.m. Santa will drive by and meet the kids at  City Hall after the tree lighting ceremony. 

HOLIDAY CLOSURES: City Hall will be closed December 25th and 26th for Christmas and January 1st and 2nd for New Year’s. 

UTILITY PAYMENTS: Due to the long holiday weekend for Christmas and the closure of the office on the 25th and 26th, the office would appreciate payments due on the 25th be made by the 22nd if possible. 

HOLIDAY GARBAGE PICK-UP: Garbage pickup will be on Saturday, the 30th and Saturday, the 6th due to the  holidays on the previous Mondays. PSI Environmental will not pick up garbage sitting outside of the provided  container. If you need more than one can for your garbage service, please call city hall to obtain a second can. Please tie garbage bags tightly before placing garbage bags in containers. 

SNOW REMOVAL & OVERNIGHT PARKING: Keep cars uncovered from snow and parked back from roads to  eliminate being clipped by the snowplows. Reminder of our snow ordinance – no parking on city streets from December 1st through March 1st, between the hours of 12 midnight and 7 a.m. Please respect the snow  ordinance to avoid fines. If there are snow events during the day, please remove cars to allow the plows to  remove snow safely. Thank you! 

BUSINESS LICENSES EXPIRE DECEMBER 31ST: Commercial licenses are $20.00. Home businesses are $10.00.  You may send in a check to pay for your license and a new license will be mailed to you.  (Do not combine with utility payment; it must be a separate check.)  

KENNEL LICENSES AND NON-CONFORMING ANIMAL LICENSES EXPIRE DECEMBER 31ST: Please contact city hall to renew these licenses and update animal information. 

DOG LICENSE REMINDER: The cost is $15 per pet’s lifetime. A photo of your pet to put on file is helpful in the  event they are lost. Remember ALL dogs must be licensed, on a leash when out and cleaned up after to avoid  $150 fine for each incident. A kennel license is required for a resident to have more than 2 dogs.
