NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

REGARDING THE PROPOSED 

COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP AMENDMENT, ZONE CHANGE, AND SPECIAL USE PERMIT PARKING EXCEPTION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a public hearing will be held on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at 6:30 p.m. before the Council at the Sugar City Hall, located at 10 East Center Street, Sugar City, Idaho to consider 3 applications, including a Comprehensive Plan Map amendment from Residential to Commercial on the Preferred Land Use Map, that the same parcel be changed from Single Family Residential (R1) to Downtown Commercial (DC) on the Zoning Map, and that the same parcel be approved for a Special Use Permit for the following parcel addressed as 56 N Park Avenue, Sugar City, Idaho, specifically;

Planning and Zoning held a public hearing regarding the applications on November 16, 2023 and have submitted their Findings of Fact and recommendations to approve the applications. 

The applications and findings are on file with the City Clerk of Sugar City and are available for inspection during regular business hours.

 At such hearing the Council will hear all persons and all objections and recommendations relative to the proposed notice. Written comments will be accepted in regards to the proposed transfer and should be delivered by Friday, January 19, 2024, at 4:00 p.m. at the Sugar City Hall located at 10 East Center, Sugar City, Idaho 83448.

The public is invited to attend and public comment is encouraged. If special access needs are required to attend the hearings, please call Sugar City Hall at least 48 hours in advance of the hearings.
