HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY

OVERNIGHT PARKING: Beginning March 1st, our snow ordinance is no longer in effect

”

until December 1st. We would appreciate your continued cooperation in not parking on the streets when we have a snowstorm. We would like to remind those out shoveling their sidewalks and driveways to not shovel the snow into the streets because once the plows have gone by it becomes a hazard on the street and often packs

down and becomes difficult to remove. We recommend finding a good spot on your property to pile the excess snow

RECYCLING: Recycling is important. We have three bins at Sugar Salem High School. The first bin is for cardboard only. The second bin is for paper (phonebooks, magazines, catalogs, newspapers, notebooks and no spiral or metal tabs). The third bin is for plastic (milk jugs, shampoo bottles, pop bottles, and water bottles). Please Recycle!! Project by Family Career and Community Leaders of AmericaFCCLA

DON’T WATER YARDS UNTIL MAY 1ST: Don’t water yards until May 1st. If you need to, please call city hall to have your meter read before you water

All citizens are encouraged to attend Planning and Zoning Meetings on the first and third Thursdays of each month at 7 p.m. and/or city council meetings on the second and fourth Thursdays at 6:30 p.m. We would welcome your input
