E-BILLING: If you have e-mail and would be interested in having your city utility bill e-mailed to you instead of a  paper copy mailed, please contact City Hall. We would like to encourage our citizens to sign up as it will save the  city funds that could be used for other uses to improve our community.

CITIZENS WE NEED YOUR HELP! The city is looking for history about Sugar City with particular interest  during the period that the POW camps were here. If your families have any journal entries or information about  our history and would be willing to share that with us please contact us at City Hall. Thank You!

SNOW REMOVAL: The city council has directed the city employees to do their best to remove the snow berm created by  the snowplow and grader, with no intent to clear driveways. They are concerned about damaging personal property in  the process. We cannot assume liability for any damage that occurs. If under these conditions you would prefer that we  not attempt to remove the snow berm in front of your driveway, please inform us and we will not attempt to remove it.

We would like to express appreciation for our wonderful citizens. We have witnessed neighbor helping neighbor clear driveways and  sidewalks. It is wonderful to see the service to each other. Gratitude is also expressed for one of our citizens Craig Bean, who has thoughtfully plowed a path along Center St. for our youth to walk safely to and from the high school. It is wonderful to live in a city  where we are privileged to have city workers that attempt to clear the snow berm for us and also citizens who help with the snow  removal that the city can’t take care of. Thanks for all you do!
