COMPREHENSIVE PLAN SURVEY

Please visit sugarcityidaho.gov by March 4th and take our survey concerning the city’s comprehensive plan. The survey should take about 12 minutes. This is your opportunity to share your thoughts. Thank you

VOLUNTEERS NEEDED! The Tree and Beautification Committee is in need of volunteers to help out with the city’s Arbor Day Program in May and the Yard & Garden Awards from June through September. Please call city hall for details if you are interested. Thank you

BILLING STATEMENT CHANGES: The change to have postcard billing statements has been delayed until April. There will not be a printed newsletter when that change occurs. The newsletter will be available to view at sugarcityidaho.gov under the Announcementstab. If you would like a printed copy of the newsletter, call city hall

GO PAPERLESS WITH EBILLING! We really appreciate all of those who have signed up for ebilling. We would like to encourage our citizens to sign up. If you are interested, go to www.paymentservicenetwork.com and register as a first time user. You may opt out of paper bills there. If you go paperless, you will be sent an email each month telling you that your bill is ready to view

METER READINGS: The city will start reading meters again at the end of March. Your bill due in April will reflect the actual usage over the winter months

OVERNIGHT PARKING: Beginning March 1st, our snow ordinance will no longer be in effect. We have appreciated your cooperation in not parking on the streets this winter

DOG LICENSE REMINDER: Licenses expired Dec. 31st. Cost is $15 per year. Make sure your pets are up to date. If you have a photo of your pet to put on file this would also be helpful if they are lost

BUSINESS LICENSE REMINDER: Business licenses expired Dec 31st, Commercial licenses are $20.00. Home businesses are $10.00. You may send in a check to pay for your license and a new license will be mailed to you. (Do not combine with utility payment; it must be a separate check.

**SEWER AND WATER EMERGENCIES** We would like to remind all residents that in case of an emergency such as a water leak or sewer issue that happens after hours or on weekend, you can call city hall and there is an emergency option that will transfer you to our public works director. The sooner you call the better to avoid more complications
