GARBAGE COLLECTION:

BREAKFAST: 

We would like to thank allthose who joined the 

celebration. We especially want to thank our city 

staff,mayor,council, volunteers and sponsors 

who made the celebration possible. 

CITY DUMPSTER: 

The budget for the city dumpster has been expended and the dumpster  removed. It will not be back this year. 

FALL CLEAN-UP: 

The city will have a fall clean-up mid October. No items may be  placed in alleys for fall clean up until the first of October (two weeks  before the cleanup date) per city code. Please do not put any items or  trash in alleys. Non-compliance to this city code will result in an  infraction at the cost of $150.00. 

Storing debris on streets or alleys is a violation of city code 3-1-13:A. 

  • PSI Environmental will not pick up garbage sitting outside of the provided container. If you need more than one can for your garbage service please call city hall to obtain a second can. 
  • There are many garbage cans reported as damaged. If you have a damaged can please call city hall to have a new one delivered. 
  • Please tie garbage bags tightly before placing garbage bags in containers. 

PARKING CODE

Please review city code for more detail on parking regulations. 

6-1-2 Parking Regulations. “… no person shall stop, stand, park or deposit a trailer, shipping container,  storage container, drop box or any other non-vehicular item in and on street parking spaces, for a period  longer than one hundred twenty (120) consecutive hours, i.e., 5 days. 

5-2-6 G Recreational Vehicle Parking: No person shall park an unoccupied recreational vehicle as  defined by Idaho Code section 49-119 on any residentially zoned street or alley right of way for more  than seven (7) consecutive days and no more than fourteen (14) days cumulative total in any one  calendar year…. 

SPRINKLER SYSTEMS: Thank you to those who have had their backflow tests done or at least scheduled  for them to be tested. If you didn’t have a test on your sprinkler system backflow preventer done last  year, please have one done this year and mail your report to city hall. This is necessary to ensure that  contamination of the water supply will not happen in the event of a pressure loss to the water system.
