HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!

MAYORAL APPOINTMENT IN SUGAR CITY: Mayor Glenn  Dalling has submitted a letter of resignation. Idaho statute  requires the City Council to appoint someone to complete the  mayoral term, which expires at the end of 2015. The  appointment is expected to occur at the next meeting of the  council, on Thursday, February 12, 2015. Anyone who desires  to be considered for this appointment may so notify the City  Clerk before 4:00 p.m. on Monday, February 9, 2015. Anyone  who is a resident of Sugar City and 18 years of age or older is  eligible. Names of any notifying the clerk will be considered at  the meeting.

DOG LICENSES: Dogs must be on a leash or in a  kennel at all times; even when walking your dog.  Dogs must be licensed through the City. The cost  is $12.00 per year. If you have not already done so,  please come into the City Office to license your  dog.

OVERNIGHT PARKING: Just a reminder of our snow  ordinance – No parking is allowed on city streets from  December 1st through March 1st, between the hours of 12  midnight and 7 a.m.

GARBAGE PICKUP: Even though President’s Day falls on a Monday, garbage pickup will be on  Thursday, February 19th. PSI recognizes only six holidays and this is not one of them.

SNOW REMOVAL: The city council has directed the city employees to do their best to remove the  snow berm created by the snowplow and grader. They are concerned about damaging property and  cannot assume liability for any damage that occurs. If you would prefer that we not attempt to  remove the snow berm in front of your driveway, please inform us and we will not attempt to remove  it.

LOCK YOUR DOORS: The Mayor is encouraging all of us to secure our homes by remembering to  lock your doors whenever you are not at home such as being in church or going into town.
