JULY CELBRATIONS: During the month of July we celebrate Independence Day. May we be ever grateful for the gift of freedom we enjoy
in the United States of America and those who have given so much service for this cause – and especially those who have given the ultimate sacrifice. May we also remember the pioneers who settled this area and endured the hardships of pioneer life. It is also important that we remember those pioneers who planned this city, including the laying out of the streets, planting trees and solving the many other problems that go with developing a city. We encourage each family to spend a few minutes on the 4th & 24th – to encourage appropriate appreciation and celebration.
DONATIONS TO FLOWER FUND: The City Tree and Beautification Committee extends a sincere “Thank You” to those of you who contributed so willingly and generously to the Flower Fund. The severe wind and rainstorm following the planting has damaged them, but hopefully sunshine and water will help them to beautify our city. Thanks are also extended to those who took time from busy schedules to replant the flower barrels and a special thanks to Jodi Huntsman for the frequent watering of the flowers.
