Dear Sugar City Residents:
HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY!
CITY HALL CLOSURE: City Hall will be closed on Friday, July 4th, in observance of Independence Day.
JULY CELEBRATIONS: During the month of
July we celebrate Independence Day. May we
ever be grateful for the gift of freedom we enjoy
in the United States of America and those who
have given so much service for this cause – and
especially those who have given the ultimate
sacrifice. May we also remember the pioneers
who planned this city, including the laying out of
the streets, planning trees, and solving the
many other problems that go with developing a
city. We encourage each family to spend a few
moments on the 4th & 24th to encourage
appropriate appreciation and celebration.
ATV LAWS REMINDER: A reminder that driving unregistered ATVs on city roads is against the law. ATV may be driven on city roads if they comply with the following:
Vehicle must be licensed
Operator must be licensed and be carrying it while driving Helmets must be worn under the age of 18
ATVs cannot be driven on highways or freeways (which includes Center Street in Sugar City)
Operators must observe ALL roadway laws
DONATIONS TO THE FLOWER FUND: We would like to give a sincere thank you to all those who have donated to the flower fund. The flowers are out and they look beautiful, adding so much to our city. This couldn’t be possible without your generous contributions. A special thanks to Jodi Huntsman for watering the flowers to keep them beautiful.
