SUGAR DAYS CELEBRATION: We would like to invite our residents to participate in the Sugar Days Celebration, Saturday, July 21st in Heritage Park. The city will start the day with the community breakfast from 7:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. and the celebration will follow from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be a rock climbing wall, fire station bounce house, obstacle house, mechanical bull and Idaho Central is bringing their money machine.
SUGAR DAYS VENDOR INFORMATION: Take advantage of the opportunity to rent a booth space for $25. $10 fee if electricity is needed. Vendors need to fill out a booth application and fill out paper tax forms at Sugar City Hall. If you already have a permit for sales, we need your permit number. Food vendors must have a photocopy of your state temporary license or exemption form with you in your booth. Call the local Public Health Office at 208-356-3239 if you have questions about a temporary food license. (Not the same as your regular food business license.) You would need to submit a temporary food license permit to the state by Friday, July 6th to receive it in time for the event. (It takes 2 weeks to process.) You may pick up the applications here at City Hall. The state charges $65.00 for an annual permit. Visit sugarcityidaho.gov for more information.

Dear Friends,
Just a note about our upcoming Sugar Days Celebration to be held on July 21st. This new celebration began last year as we celebrated the total eclipse of the sun. We had lots of visitors to our community, and we tried to support them by providing a place to stay and vendors where they could purchase goods. It seemed like such a great success that we have decided to try and enhance our annual breakfast which has been held prior to the parade in St. Anthony to celebrate Pioneer Day.
We will still have our annual breakfast starting at 7:00am and running to 10:00am. Those who wish to then go to the parade in St. Anthony can do so as it starts at 10:30am. We have invited vendors to come and provide goods for purchase, and we are also providing some activities for the family, such as a rock climbing wall, fire station bounce house, obstacle house, mechanical bull, and other activities such as music in the park. These activities will go from 10:00am to 5:00pm.
We invite all of you to come and have a great time! Thanks for your support of the city.
Sincerely,
David D. Ogden, Mayor
