SPRING CLEANUP: was cancelled by city council on April 9th. The council voted to move the last citywide cleanup to fall due to the COVID 19 pandemic

A dumpster has been placed on the west side of Silo Park off of North Front & C Street for items that you need to discard and there is a second dumpster at this location that will be for METALS ONLY. Household garbage is not allowed at the dumpster

BILLING & PAYMENT CHANGES: We are requesting those that have computers and internet access create an account at www.paymentnetworkservice.com (PSN) to receive bills ELECTRONICALLY. You may also go to sugarcityidaho.gov, under Pay Bills & Feestab & click on pay utility billto create an account, even if you choose not to pay through this website. Thank you for your cooperation in our efforts to minimize contact and spread of germs. For utility payments you may (listed in preference)

SUGAR DAYS CELEBRATION: is to be held on July 11th (second Saturday in July) from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Heritage Park. We will be inviting vendors to sign up to join in the festivities, if you are interested please call City hall for more information. More information will be in future newsletters and on the city’s website and Face book page

ARBOR DAY CELEBRATION: has been canceled

TREE & BEAUTIFICATION COMMITTEE: The committee is in need of volunteers. If you are interested please call city hall for information

HOLIDAY GARBAGE PICKUP: Because of Memorial Day on Monday, May 25th, garbage pickup for that week will be Saturday, May 30th

SEWAGE PROBLEMS: Our city insurance provider has asked us to remind all citizens, Of the importance of NOT flushing flushable wipes, sanitizer wipes, paper towels or anything else that isn’t toilet paper.Please help us prevent sewer backups by disposing of these things some other way

SPRINKLER SYSTEMS: If you didn’t have a test on your sprinkler system backflow preventer done last year, please have one done this year and mail your report to City Hall. This is necessary to ensure that contamination of the water supply will not happen in the event of a pressure loss to the water system. Thank you to those that have already brought in test results
