November 2, 2017
Dear City Residents,
By the time that most of you receive my message for this month, the election will be over. It is my hope that you have taken advantage of the vote to express who and how you would like to see the city run its affairs.
I would like to reach out to each of you and ask that we begin the process of healing this community. There has been much contention and disagreement, and I hope that we can move forward as a unified community. Please let us work together to make our future bright by creating a common purpose that we can all agree on.
I would also like to express my thanks for the many people that have stopped me along the way to express their thanks and support for the many things the city is doing for you. I credit this to a remarkable and dedicated staff and city council. Without them I could not do this job.
Thanks for all you do for the city.
Sincerely,
+
David D. Ogden, Mayor
