NOTICE OF MADISON COUNTY 

BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS PUBLIC HEARING

REGARDING THE 

PROPOSED SUGAR CITY IMPACT AREA

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that a public hearing will be held on Monday, January 8, 2024 at 5:30 p.m. before the Madison County Board of County Commissioners. The public hearing will take place at Sugar Salem High School Auditorium, 1 Digger Drive, regarding the proposed Sugar City impact area.  The Madison County Board of County Commissioners will determine if Sugar City’s Proposed Area of Impact is acceptable, in particular, the Salem area. See Map. This is a Madison County hearing, so please contact the Madison Clerk for any questions or accommodation requests. The Sugar City Council will attend the meeting and may provide testimony to the County Commissioners but will not vote or make any decisions.
