NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARINGS REGARDING REQUESTS FOR
COMPREHENSIVE PLAN MAP AMENDMENT, ZONE CHANGE, EVENT
CENTER, AND PARKING PLAN APPROVAL
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that public hearings will be held on Thursday, November 16, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. before the Sugar City Planning and Zoning Commission at Sugar City Hall, located at 10 East Center Street, Sugar City, Idaho, regarding a proposed comprehensive plan map change, zone change,
and approval of a submitted event center and parking plan.
The following parcel is proposed to be shown as commercial on the preferred land use map and applicant request the city to consider the listed zoning for the parcel;

Current zoning on the property is R1 (Single Family Residential). Requested zoning for the property is C2 (Community Commercial) or DC (Downtown Commercial). Applications are available for public inspection at Sugar City Hall during regular business hours.
At such hearings the Planning and Zoning Commission will hear all persons and all objections and recommendations relative to the public hearings. Written comment will be accepted no later than November 9, 2023, at 4:00 p.m. at Sugar City Hall located at 10 East Center, Sugar City, Idaho 83448.
The public is invited to attend and public comment is encouraged. Individual planning commission members, city councilors or the mayor should not be contacted outside of the hearing process in order to respect the rights of all interested parties. If special access needs are required to attend the hearings,
please call Sugar City Hall at least 48 hours in advance of the hearings.
